About Me

I once gave up my life to travel on the cheap for a year with my husband. We went to ten countries in fourteen months, and came home, well, different. The most interesting thing about the travel, it turns out, was the change. Or at least the process of meshing what we discovered traveling with our life back home. We did not know it at the time, but the experience of backpacking through Asia made profound shifts in our perspective. This blog explores the facets of re-entry after long-term travel; and how even re-entry can be a long-term process…perhaps even a lifelong one.
